Job Description:
Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an experienced and credentialed Project Manager who will provide leadership, oversight, and coordination across multiple task areas supporting the VHA Office of Finance under the COFFEE Program. This includes managing deliverables, tracking progress, supporting operational teams, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. A critical function of this role is supporting the phased deployment of the Integrated Facilities & Asset Management System (iFAMS), as well as providing project management across data analytics, resource management, training, policy, and payment operations.
Position Responsibilities: Lead all project management activities under the assigned Task Order Serve as the primary point of contact between the Sierra7 team and Government leadership Develop and maintain schedules, risk logs, status reports, and issue resolution trackers Coordinate weekly status briefings and bi-monthly budget tracker submissions Provide operational support across key areas, including: iFAMS Deployment Financial Management Data Analytics Resource Management Training and Policy Payment Operations EHR Modernization Interpreter Services and other financial support Track and manage labor hour task orders, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting Ability to attend in-person meetings in Washington, D.C. without incurring travel expenses to the Government Facilitate task-specific deliverables with defined scopes and mutually agreed-upon deadlines Ensure compliance with project requirements, VA/VHA policies, and federal guidelines Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting, risk management, and transparency throughout project phases. Coordinate and compile Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) detailing the progress on all activities, Schedule with major tasks, deliverables & milestones, meetings, problems and corrective actions, Personnel gains, losses, and status, Trip summaries, CLIN Cost incurred, Changes to PMP, and invoicing cost for each CLIN. Preparing presentations, briefings, and other communication materials to convey progress to executive leadership and client stakeholders effectively
Requirements:
Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including briefing senior leadership Experience with federal acquisition and financial management systems Ability to track multiple ongoing deliverables and maintain performance against timelines Familiarity with the operations and structure of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Expertise in managing labor-hour-based contracts and reporting Strong skills in stakeholder management, performance tracking, and operational coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Education & Experience: Master's degree with a Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project or Program Manager, or a bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant project management experience PMP certification or equivalent Experience supporting a large healthcare organization or government healthcare agency (minimum 6 years) Previous Veterans Health Administration (VHA) experience Demonstrated experience engaging and working with senior leadership Why Join Sierra7?
