Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production, Planning and Control organization.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner, you will work in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner. You will be responsible for:

• Coordinating with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, Follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production , the subsequent process of the supply chain.

• Coordinating with Manufacturing and Operations Management to determine appropriate lot sizing strategy for make assemblies, analyzes requirement and executes the MRP plan by releasing work orders, ensures implementation of engineering changes to assemblies, and provides timely status to ensure operating schedules are met.

• This position typically requires 2-6 years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree, Masters degree and 1-4 years or combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore must be a U.S. Citizen.

Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Desired Skills:
SAP ERP experience

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.

Experience with material and
Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Green belt trained and or certified

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

Very good organization and communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
