The Lockheed Martin Space Mission Integration team is seeking a Chief Mission Analyst for Strategic Operations to provide technical leadership to our multi-domain analysis and modeling team in Littleton, Colorado. This team supports the analysis of current military and intelligence scenarios to identify and drive integration across our mission areas.

The successful candidate will possess technical and data analytical skills with expertise in advanced mission development and a variety of analytical disciplines. Experience in broad-ranging military and intelligence topics, operations, models to simulate operations, threats, intelligence collection, as well as command & control architecture using advanced visualization tools, threat models, and C2 models to perform operations analysis, mission effectiveness, and visualization will be required.

Along with modeling & simulation experience, a background involving joint operations, battle management, all-source intelligence, or wargaming is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will lead, delegate, and perform a variety of modeling and simulation tasks to include study plan development, simulator configuration and execution, data extraction and analysis, technical presentation development and delivery. Team members also participate in some requirements definition, development, testing, and validation of next-generation simulators to support operational analysis. Self-initiative, customer intimacy, professionalism, data analytics, and superb problem-solving skills are a must.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
• Experience with modeling, simulating, operations analysis, multi-int domain knowledge and satellite systems
• Experience in modeling and simulation tools such as AFSIM & STK
• Experience with / understanding of multi-domain military operations, including intelligence and C2 dependencies
• Systems understanding experience in space architecture development for wargames or operations analysis activities with broad understanding of classified (DoD and SCI) and unclassified systems such as C4ISR, BMC3, and TCPED
•Technical leadership experience
• Experience collaborating with customers and/or key stakeholders
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Top Secret clearance required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree with strong math, physics, and/or statistics background
• Programming and scripting experience using MATLAB, Python, R, or other languages
• Experience developing / analyzing air and space system architectures, conducting architecture trade studies
• Experience leading wargaming or military operations activities that supported special access programs in a team lead capacity
• Space Operations experience (space domain awareness, battle management, resiliency, multi-domain) engaging with wide range of military, intelligence, commercial, and civil stakeholders, from operators thru executives, in the design, planning, and execution of exercises, analysis, and wargames involving space capabilities.
• Operational experience working military and intelligence customer missions, in particular, first-hand experience with the development and evaluation of tactics, operating plans, and operating concepts.
• Experience with RF systems development, testing and integration, or operations.
• Superb customer interaction, professionalism and initiative, communication skills, ability to work autonomously, experience with small teams, and public speaking.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
