Description:Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineering Senior Manager within the Space Security and Intelligence Organization. You will lead a team to develop, build, test, certify and deliver electronics components and subsystems to multiple host programs.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Littleton CO, and be expected to work in the office.

What does this role look like?
• Manage and develop the Electronics workforce and functional leadership chain across all SSI programs, to include oversight of Vemo assignments and balancing the pay and performance evaluations across the population.
• Work with leadership and program management through the Space Security and Intelligence (SSI) Strategic Staffing process to forecast Electronics staffing requirements and provide necessary staffing for SSI programs and campaigns.
• Provide oversight of Electronics Engineering performance across the mission segment to ensure the application of appropriate talent and experience and to engage enterprise expertise when as needed.
• Establish a community of practice across Electronics Engineering to share best practices and lessons learned.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Formal project management with earned value metrics.
• Lead training, and career development of the staff.
• Support new business proposals with the generation of BOE estimates.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with program management and customer throughout the product life cycle.
• Direct interaction on a regular basis with government customer personnel and their technical advisors.
• Lead and coordinate technical design changes.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Prior experience as a project lead in electronics hardware design with a track record of success in meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Relevant experience as a leader that demonstrated full spectrum behaviors.
• 12+ years professional experience.
• You need to have an active Top Secret or higher clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading multi-functional teams.
• Current or prior leadership experience or equivalent.
• Experience in electronics product development across the product lifecycle.
• Experience in working with and presenting information to external customers and stakeholders.
• An active Top Secret or higher clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Relevant experience as a leader of leaders.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative manner to organize, motivate and lead teams to arrive at solutions that support the goals and objectives of the organization and customer.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Project Leadership/Management Experience throughout the engineering life cycle: scoping, sizing, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking.
• Experience in presentation, oral and written communication to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges amongst employees, co-workers, leaders, and customers.
• Experience in major program reviews including System Requirement Reviews, System Design Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Manufacturing Readiness Review, Test Readiness Review, etc.
• Commitment to the development of others.
• Experience in manufacturing and production of space flight electronics.
• Preliminary Review / Engineering Review Board (PR/MRB) certification or experience.
• Component / Unit level manufacturing & testing experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
