Description:You will be the Program Prod Ops Lead for Missiles and Fire Control (MFC).

What You Will Be Doing
As the Fabrication IPT Lead, you will be responsible for:
• Leading a cross-functional Operations team with members from Global Supply Chain, Quality, and Production across multiple states.
• This position will coordinate with the respective Operations Leaders to ensure the IPT is meeting its objectives and delivering in the areas of affordability and producibility, on-time procurement/deliveries, resolution of yield issues, and proactively management of risks and opportunities.
• This position requires a fundamental understanding of all aspects of Operations. The Fabrication IPT Lead will represent the IPT in recurring program reviews and will heavily interact with the program management team as well as the leads of the other IPT's. Please note that this role requires the ability and willingness to travel regularly to support activities at multiple sites.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position may be located in Orlando, FL or Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance
• Related experience in one of the three disciplines of Operations (GSC, Quality, Production)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
• Experience with leading/managing/executing projects to cost/schedule/quality objectives
• Candidate must be willing and able to travel
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Previous leadership experience in a production environment
• Experience in procurement processes
• Understand quality assurance tasks such as corrective action, parts handling, quality metrics, etc.
• Scheduling and execution to plans/IMS tasks
• Establishing priorities for production during development
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
