What You Will Be Doing
Are you passionate about aviation, problem-solving, and technical communication? Join the F-35 Joint Technical Data (JTD) team as an Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer Sr, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the world’s most advanced fighter jet.
We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as a key point of contact for managing PAIRs (Production Asset Inspection Requirements) and Action Requests (ARs) related to aircraft maintenance documentation. This is a highly collaborative role that will have you working closely with internal stakeholders, program leads, and external customers to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of technical data supporting the F-35 fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the processing of PAIRs and ARs, including tracking, assignment, and status updates.
- Act as a liaison between internal engineering teams and external customers to resolve issues and clarify technical requirements.
- Support the development, review, and validation of organizational-level maintenance and troubleshooting publications for F-35 aircraft.
- Utilize XML-based desktop publishing tools to update and create technical publications in accordance with program standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Action Request process, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and consistency.
- Apply your knowledge of aircraft systems to identify and correct technical data discrepancies, improving support for operational fleets.

Who You Are
You’re a technically-minded professional with experience supporting aircraft maintenance or engineering documentation. You thrive in a team environment, communicate clearly, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You have a strong understanding of technical writing and publication tools like XML and desktop publishing software, and you’re passionate about supporting mission-critical platforms like the F-35.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Aircraft Maintenance experience
• Experience working with a team and collaboration experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

• SQL query experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
