Job Title: RF Electronics Engineer Associate Manager

Description:Directs the implementation and design of Radio Frequency systems. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the design and development of RF systems used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Leads the staff responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Oversees the preparation of the following: test methods and specifications; analysis and testing of RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. Manages the development of RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Coordinates link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Manages the development and allocation of RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Oversees the identification and tracking of RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Monitors RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
-Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college

-Experience with project management

-Experience with development and/or integration of mission systems payloads
and/or sensors

The selected candidate must have a secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
-Technical leadership experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Experience presenting to internal and external customers and suppliers.

-Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration and working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams

-Experience using earned value management systems to manage a team's cost and schedule performance

-Experience working with suppliers in a fixed price environment

-Experience with responding to customer proposals and other capture activities

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
