Job Description:
The Senior Director of Contract Management will report to the Chief Financial Officer and develop, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and other related third-party agreements, including appropriate reviews and approvals with technical, operational, financial, or legal stakeholders and experts, to support federal client contracts. This position will also include collaboration with Sierra7's other government-related industries as needed. This role will require to provide on-site support up to three times a week at Sierra7 headquarters in McLean, Virginia 22102.
Position Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the contract management team, ensuring the effective administration of all contracts. Conduct the negotiation, administration, and management of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsible for reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation terms, negotiating, finalizing, and executing contract awards, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments/modifications and incorporating changes. Manage and/or support (as applicable) internal RFP, bidding and award processes, ensuring that all procedures and selected third parties meet federal procurement regulations and guidelines. Review and analyze terms and conditions to ensure favorability to the customer and minimize operational, financial and legal risk Monitor performance against contractual commitments and service level agreements, provide performance feedback to internal and external stakeholders and escalate ongoing performance concerns to internal and external leadership as appropriate Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve contractual disputes Participate in project or program planning activities as needed, representing third party procurements and subcontracting processes Advise stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions and other contractual elements Prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation package·
Participate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews Assist in the preparation of export license applications Support, communicate, reinforce and defend Sierra7's mission, values and culture Identify and mitigate contractual risks to protect the company's interests.
Requirements:
Extensive corporate-level risk management experience Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, SharePoint, Unanet product suites Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of Federal Contract Administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Extensive knowledge of government contracting regulations and requirements. Experience working as a Federal Contracts Administrator Professional Contract Management Certifications can include: CCCM, CPCM, MSIR, CFCM (Preferred) Why Join Sierra7?
