Job Description:
The Creative Content Specialist will join our Enterprise Architecture Support Program and contribute to the ability to assist Veteran's Administration IT leadership in a communications capacity. The Creative Content Specialist will function as a writer with outreach, building graphics, producing PowerPoint presentations, communicating with leadership, research communications and general technology topics. Occasional assistance will be required to assist in designing PowerPoint decks for the Chief Architect, and research and writing around all the new Handbooks/Stand Operating Procedures/Contingency Operations. In this role, there is a significant amount of interacting with the client as well as Points of Contact and Subject Matter Experts to acquire the content required for the various pieces.
Position Responsibilities: Work with leaders to creatively present material. Contribute to overall content strategy with innovative ideas and solutions. Take a proactive approach in the assimilation of content for each piece. Participate in client meetings. Provide ideas and feedback for consistent quality and improvement.
Requirements:
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently as a contributing team member. Positive/optimistic. Open Minded, willing to look at ways to improve our processes Customer-Focused (ease of doing business for our customers) Team player Creative writing (storytelling, researching, editing, etc.) Business level experience with MS-Office 365, Teams Experience writing policies and procedures is a plus, especially working with government agencies. Experience creating high quality written copy for a variety of platforms including newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, email, and public events. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations/Advertising/Journalism/English or related field or equivalent experience.
