Job Description:

The Sr. Director of Enterprise Excellence is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and strategic alignment by fostering continuous improvement, operational optimization, and compliance with quality and governance standards. Responsibilities in this position will span multiple domains to ensure that the organization operates at peak performance and maintains competitive advantages. This role involves analyzing and optimizing the company's operational and administrative workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The Senior Director will work closely with other members of the executive team and key stakeholders across the organization to drive change, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Directs activities for studying and optimizing an organization's business processes focused on improving operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Develops research initiatives that study best practices and industry trends. Drives the in-depth analysis of existing workflows, identifying areas needing improvement, and implementing changes. Engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups for input and suggestions. Establishes processes and tools used to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Provides documentation, tools, and training to support the adoption of new business processes.

The Sr. Director will also manage an internal IT team responsible for ensuring that the organization's technological infrastructure supports its operational goals. This includes overseeing the management, development, and enhancement of IT systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the integration of new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Position Responsibilities: Manage a team of quality, business intelligence and IT professionals and data analysts. Responsible for hiring, performance reviews, coaching, development, terminations, and any relative employee matters. Improve operational efficiencies Enhance quality, service, and profitability Develop research initiatives Analyze existing workflows and identify areas of improvement Implement changes and improvements Engage and organize subject matter experts Lead the establishment data collection and measurement processes Lead organizational level strategic planning process Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) Produce data-driven analysis of critical functions Provide documentation, tools, and training Lead internal communication method improvements (ex. Intranet) Facilitate organizational level meetings

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, project management, and change management, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong familiarity with Operations Management, Delivery, and Program Management The ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects and resources effectively, and motivate teams to achieve strategic and process improvement goals is essential. Strong influencing skills and the ability and experience with working effectively with C-Level and stakeholders across all functional business lines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Professional writing experience with a solid command of English grammar to create easily understood standards, tools, presentations and business communications. The ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems is essential. A track record of achieving results and driving continuous improvement in process optimization. Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the organization's industry, such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9000, 27000/27001, CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business administration, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. 8-10 years of experience in process improvement, change management, and leadership roles is required. Experience in the specific industry of the organization is also desirable. Desired certifications include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher, Project Management Professional (PMP), CMMI Associate, ISO Quality standards, and other quality or project management certifications Previous experience working in Government Contracting Why Join Sierra7?
