Job Description:

The IT Analyst will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the technology systems. The IT professional will be dedicated to training and supporting employees with new systems and procedures, ensuring they can effectively utilize the latest technologies. Effective communication through the ticketing system is crucial, aiding in future troubleshooting and providing detailed information for escalating tickets.

Position Responsibilities: Will be the first point of contact for technical support and guidance to various teams within the organization. Address and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Assist with the deployment, maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of laptops, ensuring smooth operations. Assist with user accounts and password resets and maintain adherence to documented policies and procedures to ensure system integrity. Documenting IT processes, procedures, and system configurations for future reference, contributing to a well-organized and efficient IT environment. Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. Follow up with users to provide feedback and see problems through to resolution. Provide on-site support for Sierra7 headquarters in McLean, Virginia 22102

Requirements:
Ability to think creatively and solve complex IT problems. Attention to detail is key to ensuring system configuration and documentation accuracy. Excellent communication skills to translate technical language into terms that non-technical staff can understand. Patience, empathy, and active listening are required to provide exceptional support and build positive user relationships. Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 systems. Working knowledge of IT Ticketing Systems. Familiar with SharePoint administration for Microsoft 365. Education and Experience: 1 Year of experience in related IT field through internships or entry-level positions. Must have a High School Degree or GED Ability to work in a team atmosphere and work independently. CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Sec+ or ITIL foundation or other entry-level IT-focused certifications are preferred. Why Join Sierra7?
