Job Description:
Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Architect (EA) to supports the sustainment and enhancement of the various applications (eCMS) which allows for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to procure goods and services to continue their support of the veteran community and those that serve them.
Sierra7 is a US Small Business Administration (SBA) and Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE)-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) who provides Federal clients system and technology integration, program management, business process optimization, and enterprise solutions.
Position Responsibilities: Ensure that all system artifacts for each of the eCMS solutions being managed are kept up to date to reflect the current version of that solution as deployed in the eCMS production environment. Those artifacts included, but are not limited to: Business Process Flows DoDAF Diagrams, including but not limited to: DIV-1 Conceptual Data Models DIV-2 Logical Data Models DIV-3 Physical Data Models Manage the AMEA artifacts on a quarterly basis in accordance with the Change Management Plan which involves: Initiating quarterly communications with known system owners/stakeholders to illicit feedback on any new changes/updates to their respective systems; and Reviewing any artifact updates and gain proper approval of requested changes; and Updating artifacts in accordance with updates presented by system owners; and Reviewing updated artifacts to gain approval to publish; and Publishing updated artifacts; and Utilizing the Unicom System Architect (SA) software to create and or maintain eCMS related EA artifacts/data to ensure conformance with currently published artifacts Manage the AMEA SharePoint site by communicating with OI&T resources to ensure any required updates to the site are requested, tested, and deployed and to also ensure that new and/or updated AMEA artifacts are published and available to the user community. Manage change requests (CR), review CMP for process flows, as required which include making approved updates to the SharePoint site, ensuring any updates required to Power Automate process flows are in accordance with current CR process flows and maintain the CR solutions and its availability to the user community. Analyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutions Work collaboratively across the team and with the customer. Support all project reporting requirements
Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience: Experience with the following: Unicom System Architect Microsoft Visio Microsoft Azure DevOps Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft Power Automate Microsoft Office Experience with Agile development, DevSecOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Familiarity with Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) [desired] Experience as a Enterprise Architect with strong communication skills who is comfortability interfacing with the client and working with a team to formulate solutions to complex problems with an aptitude for problem resolution Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline [required] 5 years of experience Experience working in VA [desired] Ability to obtain a Government clearance [required] Why Join Sierra7?
