Duties
At the full performance level, major duties include:
• Works closely with senior Washington and Regional management, field management, and other RMS/DCP staff in order to determine informational components, analytical needs, security protocols, and system requirements, vital for effective management information and decision support systems.
• Applies in-depth technical expertise of RMS/DCP procedures, as well as practical knowledge of software and automated tool applications, information processing systems, corporate database structure, application of available software tools and security governance to design and prepare various management reports, and analyses in response to a wide variety of management information requests.
• Serves as an Information Security Administrator (ISA) for regional RMS/DCP personnel and non-FDIC users and coordinates regional ISA functions with RMS/DCP Security in the Washington Office.
• Utilizes existing software and automated tools to write complex queries and design reporting tools that can efficiently and accurately meet management needs for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of the region/division's operations and management.
• Maintains effective working relationships with RMS/DCP staff and with personnel from other divisions to develop information systems and resolve issues related to requirements, operational analysis, data collection, information sharing, and system implementation.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience participating in the development, implementation, and governance of automated information delivery and retrieval tools to enhance business processes and operations; performing analyses on dissimilar data sets including financial institution data; and creating technical reports through data extraction across multiple platforms.
CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience overseeing, developing, implementing, and governing of automated information delivery and retrieval tools to enhance business processes and operations; performing analyses on dissimilar data sets, including financial institution supervision data; and creating technical reports through data extraction across multiple platforms.
