Position Summary:
To disassemble, clean, repair and re-assemble all aspects of equipment to product specifications.
Assembles large and heavy parts to complete units or subassemblies. Performs a variety of specialized assembly operations, such as riveting and welding. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other special equipment to perform assembly operations. May refer to technical drawings, engineering notices, etc. Previous assembly experience required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Efficiently read and understand relative schematics and drawings and adequately read and interpret blue prints in order to meet product specifications. Responsible for tear down, reassemble and inspection of high complexity subassemblies, components, parts, equipment and systems. Perform the safe operation of testing equipment. Perform MSHA inspections of equipment. Test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality. Responsible for troubleshooting systems in a safe and efficient manner. Oversee and train Assemblers I (apprentices) and inspect their work. Uses full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection on new and used components. Starts up and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power and OSHA requirements Sets up and tests production equipment under power, testing for mechanical
difficulties, tracing to their sources and correcting problem. Responsible for correct daily time and material calculations. Performs other duties and assumes accountability's as apparent or as delegated. Must be able to complete CPR & First Aid training. Education and Experience:
High school diploma is required Three years' experience is preferred Completion of formal apprenticeship program or trade school is preferred Must be qualified to operate a fork truck Must be Self-motivated, cooperative, follow instructions, work safely Why Join the CB Mining Team:
