Job Description:

Successful candidates will work an 8-hour day. Scheduled work hours can be assigned between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
SUMMARY
Works directly with the Government personnel in meeting the administrative needs of the project and its staff. The position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA). This position may be required to work both daytime and evening shifts when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Access control, answering the telephone, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. Greet visitors and all personnel as they enter the buildings. Check clearances of visitors that enter building using the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Issue appropriate badges to visitors entering the building. Escort visitors having official business, but not a specific sponsor within the building. Schedule monthly Integrated Warfare System Lab orientations. Update expired clearances in the LENEL system and personnel database Create and assign access levels in LENEL. Maintain various databases and print building access lists. Maintain security vault and strong room checklists. Provide daily security rounds. Monitor supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) PC for building power. Register CAC cards into the LENEL system for use on the card readers Provide supervision to Access Control personnel for four buildings, to include scheduling coverage for all buildings. Do daily inventory of visitor badges, take badges out of LENEL that do not work, or badges that have not come back to building. Interface with Government and Contractor Personnel for access changes as required. Update personnel in the Personnel Report Database, to gain access to building website to schedule testing. Page personnel over the intercom as needed. Contact ETC group for trouble shooting reader problems and setting access codes. Answering day to day questions regarding building operations, orientation, badges, access codes, readers etc. Some work is completed without established procedures.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED or equivalent. One (1) year experience. Verifiable experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Dictation is a plus.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to complete a substantial body of work. Ability to accept and respond to new emergent and unique project task requirements. Ability to work evening shifts when required. Ability to present ideas clearly and succinctly both in writing and verbally to co-workers, team members, internal department groups and personnel as well as outside entities to include other departments. Ability to use a variety of office automation software, i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearances.
