An Injection Molding Tooling Engineer job in Atlanta, GA is currently available with one of Belcan's top-tier international partners in the medical device manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be working as a mold design engineer providing advanced injection mold design and optimizations to existing tooling in advanced manufacturing operations.
Tooling Engineer Job duties:
• Detailed design of new and existing tooling
• Scale up for running production
• Working within production team (process experts injection molding and measurements)
• Detailed analysis of measurements & technical reports
• Execution of mold qualification according to company production SOPs
Qualifications:
• Experience within tool and mold engineering for medical devices
• Experience in GMP conform qualification documentation
• Expert in trouble shooting / root cause analysis
• Able to write and analyze technical reports
• Experience with ProE / Solidworks / Related Modeling Software
• RJG training experience a plus
