A Tooling Analyst Job in Oklahoma City, OK is available through Belcan. To be considered for this role you will have a general technical background with a Trade School certification or equivalent experience. You will have five to ten years of tooling, manufacturing or related quality experience. Experience in coordinating the tool movement back and forth from suppliers, to warehouse and or to various customer locations. You will be knowledgeable in tooling prints in order to make sure the correct tool is assigned and in good working order. You will update all related tooling records and make sure all tooling issues with customers are resolved in order to keep the tooling development and demonstration process on track.
Major duties and Responsibilities -
* Complete visual inspection of tooling. Upon receipt of a tool, and prior to shipping a tool, open the containers and verify the tool number and serial number. Inspect for damage, loose details (FOD hazards) and obviously missing details. * Make sure tool inventory is maintained with serviceable tools only.
* Send communications confirming receipt of the tool at Central Inventory, and have the tool put into stock by onsite material handling personnel.
* Respond to requests for movement of tools.
* Locate and prepare tools for movement to and from Central Inventory and the Heavy Maintenance Center, or to and from tool suppliers.
Technical Responsibilities include:
* Create a file folder for the tool, including drawings to be used for inspection.
* Create DD1149 forms to track movement of government owned property.
* Maintain records and inventory logs through excel spreadsheet
* Update SAP records as required, including cycle counts and location movement
* Familiar with Microsoft office products
* Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
* Must be able to read tooling prints
