JOB TITLE: Administrative & Configuration Management Support Specialist

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The individual will support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with modernization of a variety of existing GPS receivers to meet existing DoD / civil mandates and DoD / national-level priorities Duties include supporting the identification, documentation, and implementation of configuration management related activities, milestone preparation and documentation of these activities in program briefs and reports Provides administrative assistance support to Government PM and PNT PO GPS Modernization team This position will be assigned to government offices at Robins AFB, GA
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing acquisition management support services to ensure delivery of acquisition services in support of the customer's mission. Services include some or all of the following:
Provides all aspects of administrative support for the PNT PO Materiel Leader and other senior PNT PO personnel Interact with lateral organizations or any external agencies required including facility, personnel, security, computer support, training, etc. to facilitate operations of the PNT PO Assist as required in organizing meetings, tracking and responding to expenses, and preparing staff packages Support the overall project lead and provide support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings Support configuration management/data management programs for the PNT PO office Assist in the establishment and documentation of configuration management policies, practices, and procedures Provide integration, communication coordination, and planning expertise to the acquisition, modification, and sustainment efforts. Creates and coordinates program office reports regarding all phases of the life cycle to include acquisition, modification, and sustainment efforts managed by the PNT PO Perform liaison work with AFLCMC Program Executive Officer, Program Element Staff Group, other Program Offices, and operational units.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret
Associate Degree At least 3 years related experience Experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 and AF 63 series directives Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally Excellent skills with MS Office product suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years related experience Level I DAWIA Certification Experience as an administrative officer in support of acquisition, modification, or sustainment functions or equivalents
WORK LOCATION: Robins AFB, GA

TRAVEL: 5%
