JOB TITLE: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert supporting analysis, programming, and providing technical support for the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Clinical Support Division (CSD).

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing technical guidance, regulations, and advising senior leadership on policy gaps and operationalizing of policy initiatives Drafting program and budget requirements to resource and provide oversight of health and medical activities; Drafting testimony, publication, and briefs related to specialty care services in the direct care and purchased care systems; Promoting more effective and efficient health operations through enhanced enterprise-wide shared services, optimized use of resources, rapid adoption of proven practices and common measurements for outcomes, and improved coordination of specialty care across direct and purchased care services and settings; Coordinating subject matter expertise to inform the execution, evaluation, and modification of contracts for managed-care support
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Clinical Psychologist Experience in defining organizational problems Ability to analyze and develop plans and requirements to resolve problems facing the Military Healthcare System Ability to coordinate the preparation of analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation of programs and systems specifications in the areas of risk management Experience in life-cycle management; policy development, methodologies, and modeling, and simulation
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in the Military Health System Experience providing program management support for primary and specialty care Communities of Interest in the Military Health System
WORK LOCATION: Falls Church, VA

TRAVEL: 15%
