Responsibilities
PotomacWave is currently seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst to join our expanding corporate team in Alexandria, VA for a position with excellent growth potential. We are looking for a high-energy candidate with impeccable attention to detail and time management skills to assist our accounting team.
Responsibilities include accounts payables, accounts receivables, assistance with payroll, and related administrative tasks. Assistant will report and work directly with corporate controller and will interact with all members of the accounting team. You will learn receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliations, tax preparation, and various other accounting functions.
Qualifications
1- 2 years of job related experience. Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, can establish priorities; meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure; being proactive, resourceful and efficient; and, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and with a team Ability to manage multiple tasks.
