Senior Manager, University Relations & Campus Recruitment
Summary
PenFed is hiring a Senior Manager, University Relations & Campus Recruitment to join our Talent Acquisition team in our McLean Virginia Headquarters location. In this newly created role, you will manage campus recruitment events, university relations and the PenFed Summer Internship Program. This leader will work to ensure the PenFed Summer Internship Program is a world-class experience for students and PenFed leaders as well as position PenFed as an employer of choice for college graduates.

Essential Functions

Manage PenFed's college recruiting and university relations.
Manage vendor relationships for college programming and the Summer Internship Program.
Manage the recruitment process for campus hires, including PenFed's Summer Internship program, to drive business growth.
Develop relationships with targeted university career services and faculty contacts.
Partner with organizational leaders to anticipate the college graduate hiring needs of the business to ensure alignment for current and future hiring needs.
Establish recruitment strategy and design/implement advertising and social media campaigns.
Build internal and external partnerships to enhance the diversity of qualified candidates in the PenFed candidate pipeline.
Source and recruit for high quality university talent for open positions including attending career fairs, phone screening, interviewing, offer development and negotiation, and closing/offer acceptance.
Act as a recruiting SME to dedicated department managers and senior level leaders.
Manage University Relations & Campus Recruitment team on a daily basis, to include establishing metrics, priorities, and expected performance levels of the team.
Provide feedback and coaching to the team when necessary.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of programs and execute plans to improve results.
Partner with the Learning and Development team to create, implement, and support onboarding and assimilation activities to ensure that new college hires are successfully on boarded.


Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Talent Acquisition is required.
Minimum of one (1) years' supervisory experience is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in college recruiting and internship programs required.
Experience using Taleo preferred.
