ARServices is seeking a full time HR Generalist to join its team to support the Department of Energy's Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB). The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB) is an independent organization within the executive branch chartered with the responsibility of providing recommendations and advice to the President and the Secretary of Energy regarding public health and safety issues at Department of Energy defense nuclear facilities. The position is located in Washington DC.
Use NFC to provide advisory services to DNFSB personnel to resolve system issues, and to process personnel actions and corrective packages Provide expert advice on complex staffing and personnel issues, and guide decisions that have implications on major agency programs Advise managers on a full range of Federal HR staffing and personnel payroll concerns Conduct HR advisory and operational support for merit promotion, OPM Delegated Examining staffing, as well as HR staffing program reviews Conduct quality assurance and quality reviews on personnel actions for DNFSB personnel records Develop and finalize HR staffing requirements on all personnel actions in accordance with the Guide to Processing Personnel Actions Possess full range of HR experience for staffing, recruitment, and classification Review historic personnel actions for corrections to ensure the eOPF records are in compliance Develop and finalize HR staffing and personnel action processing procedures for DNFSB HR operations Ensure appropriate and timely administration of a wide variety of employee benefits programs, including government-wide programs such as the Thrift Savings Plan, long-term care, life insurance, dental and vision plan, as well as organizational programs like voluntary leave donation and financial management programs Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role supporting the federal government Ability to obtain a Public Trust Working knowledge of federal HR policies, compliance requirements, and guidelines Ability to independently perform duties related to federal recruiting, staffing and classification Experience with NFC HR systems Desired Qualifications
