ARServices is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist to support the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Acquisition Management Division (AMD). The OJP provides innovative leadership to justice systems, by disseminating state-of-the art knowledge and practices across America, and providing grants for the implementation of these crime fighting strategies. The AMD supports all phases of the OJP's acquisition process, from acquisition planning to post-award services for a variety of goods and services used in daily operations.
Draft pre-award documentation, such as acquisition plans, solicitations, justifications, and work statements for Contracting Officer review and approval Provide research, guidance, and input, including preparation of modifications and applicable documentation for Contracting Officer review and approval Assist with contract closeout efforts Provide support in performing strategic reviews of solicitations and contract award files Provide support in assuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Comptroller General Decisions, DOJ Directives, AMD's Standard Operating Procedures, and other procurement directives Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university FAC-C Level III and/or DAWIA Level III certification An active secret security clearance (or higher) Solid understanding of acquisition policies and regulations from government and private industry perspectives Desired Qualifications
