Job Description: Sentara Leigh Hospital is currently recruiting for a Part Tlime Day Shift Cardiac Non-Invasive Tech.

Sentara Leigh Hospital is a Magnet Status, 250-bed facility featuring all patient-friendly private rooms and specializing in orthopedic, gynecological and urological services. Sentara Leigh offers a contemporary care environment for general medical/surgical and ambulatory services and is home to the orthopedic hospital, which has 48 beds dedicated to specialized orthopedic care. The hospital offers a full-service Emergency Room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, GI, and Oncology services. It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center.

Requires EKG application, acquisition, editing and rhythm recognition; Holter/Event Monitor hook-up and scanning; stress testing; report processing and charting; recognize and alert cardiologist to abnormal results. Operate/maintain all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner; complete department documentation; maintain adequate supply inventory to perform procedures; participate in department Performance Initiatives; participate in the professional development of staff and students.

High School Grad or Equivalent
Experience
Required: Related - 1 year

Required: Basic Life Support, Cert Cardiographic Tech

Other
1 year cardiac clinical or equivalent experience required. On the job training required. Certified Cardiographic Technician certification required within 2 years of date of hire.
