SUMMARY
Responsible for performing activities at the Operations Control Center (OCC) or various NSWCDD labs, as assigned by the Lead Tactical Systems Engineer for that respective shift. These duties include performing unique tasks as assigned, providing support the facility users, troubleshoot, both corrective and preventive maintenance as well as documentation of work performed (log keeping). The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for testing and troubleshooting and performing corrective and preventive maintenance. Responsible for making tactical logbook entries that are concise, accurate and provide sufficient detail. Responsible for using proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Responsible for generating/updating/closing work candidates and configuration changes ensuring the information is detailed and accurate. Responsible for installing/testing all Aegis Weapon System related IWSL local change notices. Responsible for utilizing all applicable security procedures while performing in the IWSL.



Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
The Tactical Systems Technician (TST) shall have four (4) years of general Naval tactical O&M experience, including two (2) years of training and simulation systems O&M experience. Must have or be able to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
The ability to work independently and complete a substantial body of work. The ability to communicate and share knowledge and train other team members. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

As a condition of employment, candidates for posted positions must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, Tatitlek will consider only applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. May require occasional travel.
