SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis, financial management, and cost analysis support to Government sponsored programs. (Gun and Electronic Weapons Systems E Department)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific services include supervising a team of junior to mid-level financial support staff. Providing financial analysis support to the organizations' divisions, branches, program managers, group leaders, and Business Office. Provide financial management and cost analysis of projects within the organization. Process incoming funding to NSWCDD. Recommend the allocation of financial resources. The Contractor shall provide funds status inputs to the government. Knowledge in the use of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), a Systems Applications Products (SAP) in Data Processing business application to report on, analyze, budget, forecast, track, and solve problems for the Government's financial accounts. Generate, update, and maintain program, project, and budget estimates, tracking budget execution by appropriation and funding type, addressing budget issues, and providing data for budget data calls.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field. Three (3) years of professional experience in the area of accounting functions. Experience includes staff supervision, tracking of program and project budgets, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports, reviewing of invoices and statements, verifying financial information, and ensuring sufficient funds have been obligated. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Secret

Additional Qualifying Factors: As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearances.
