The ConsultingDivision of DXC Technology (dxc.com) is currently recruiting for the role of Business Architect . In this role, you are recognized throughout DXCConsulting Group for your expertise in business design and team leadership. You will work closely with senior managers andboard-level executives in defining the vision, strategic direction, businessarchitecture, and end-to-end business process design for DXC Consulting Groupclients. Your expertise qualifies you to lead design reviews, champion proposedapproaches, recommend associated work products and tools, and provide guidanceon proposed business solutions. The Business Architect is the business link tothe technical experts when defining application systems that support theredesigned or improved business processes. The business architect is alsoresponsible for leading the overall business design effort and developing,educating, and mentoring potential business analysts and architects in businessprocess design best practices.

Develop,communicate, maintain, and enforce the overall business vision and business architecturedesign Demonstrateand communicate a deep understanding of business practices, key businessconcepts, frameworks, and tools and be experienced in their application tovarious business and industry situations Leadthe business strategy definition Lead/participatein the organizational strategy and change management definition Leadthe business domain portion of a package evaluation, selection, andimplementation project Demonstrateand communicate an deep understanding of business process design techniques andtools Demonstrateand communicate a deep understanding of logical entity and/or class modeling techniquesand tools Leadand facilitate the exchange between participants within a workshop, worksession, interview, or lab Leadin identifying and quantifying the costs and benefits of possible businessactions or recommendations (Case for Action) and documenting them usingMicrosoft Excel or similar tool Definea hierarchy of business functionality Defineand model end to end business processes Defineand model information from a business perspective Understandbusiness problems and shape project solutions to address those problems Create,modify, and utilize standards, templates, and procedures to aid in thedevelopment of the required project work products Participatein the gathering of business requirements through a variety of techniques(workshops, work sessions, interviews, and documentation analysis) Developuse cases or user stories to document business requirements Designand document user system interfaces (USI) for business applications

Plan,manage, and lead the Business portion of a project or program Prioritize,delegate, and complete the creation of business architecture work products anddeliverables Manageteam and individual tasks in a consistent quality manner Manageand motivate others to take action Consistentlydemonstrate an organized and disciplined approach to work Manageyour team's time and accurately estimate the remaining efforts for tasks Managethe scope of assigned project team tasks to stay within project estimates Provideinformation to the Project Office in the form of deliverables and presentations Create,distribute, and present project documentation (written and graphical)

BusinessDegree or other Bachelor's degree 7+years of business analysis experience with additional consideration if you haveconsulting experience 3+years of business architecture experience Commitmentto accepting travel assignments (see below: Expectation for Travel) Musthave ability to work in the U.S.

For theConsulting Division of DXC Technology, all roles require a commitment to 75%travel. This doesn't mean that a personwill always be traveling for assignments, but new Consultants joining our teamneed to understand that they could be assigned to a travel role. The staffing process focuses on assigningpeople to local roles as a priority, however, if a Consultant is available andhas the right skills for an assignment for another DXC Technology office acrossthe United States, the Consultant may be staffed into that travel assignment. When this happens, they travel to the projectlocation at the start of the week, return at the end of the work week and arehome during the weekends.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Six or more years of consulting experience with business analysis, design, and redesign
One to two years of additional relevant experience in one or more business or industry specialty areas
Experience working with company, client , and/or equivalent vendor-mandated methodology
Experience working with techniques and approaches for business process design
Experience working with techniques and approaches for test planning and execution
Good workflow analysis and business process integration skills
Good communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
Ability to devise creative business solutions
Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems
Willingness to travel
