Essential Job Functions
Builds and maintains an account program management office that operates at the account level. Executes account management systems according to policy, and enforces adherence to company methodology to manage account performance. Administers account reviews on behalf of account executives.
Establishes relationships with account executives and client management by demonstrating advocacy for the client expectations and goals. Supports timely and accurate communications to the clients regarding the various aspects of the accounts.
Implements governance based upon account management models that operate at the client account level.
Manages and coordinates client project reporting. Chairs internal project integration meetings and project management meetings. Manages and tracks view of cost, revenue and financial impact milestones against the account economic goals of the contract to ensure accuracy. Tracks and reports consumption of internal project costs and client charges for small to medium sized accounts in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Drives and administers account level demand forecasting processes.
Participates in managing account standardization objective efforts across organizational boundaries.
Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors degree in business administration, computer science or related field preferred
Nine years of program office management, account management or related experience
Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
Experience working with management implications of various forms of financial data
Experience working with project/program management office concepts
Experience working with account management principles and practices
Strong communications skills to interface with high-level customer representatives and company management
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients
Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
