A Vice President, Finance & Investor Relations job in Lafayette, IN is currently available through Belcan. To be considered for this role you will have 10+ years of Sr. Management experience. You will also a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Graduate Degree strongly preferred). In this role you will be responsible for the annual operating plans and quarterly forecast reviews including profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and monthly business unit financial reporting packages. Working alongside the President & CEO and the SVP, CFO & Treasurer, you will lead the development of the four year strategic plan (STRAP) as well as the consolidated forecasts and monthly Board of Directors report. You will provide direction to the accounting/finance staff and lead departmental initiatives to improve, automate, and simplify current accounting and reporting processes to maximize their efficiency and effectiveness as well as mentor the staff and develop talent to support the growing needs of the company.
* Analyze quarterly results and develop messaging for quarterly and year-end earnings calls (releases, scripts, Q&A) in close coordination with company finance and legal functions and outside IR partner.
* Maintain, develop, and improve relations and communications with shareholders, bond investors, and other members of the financial community, including equity and credit analysts, to maintain the company's reputation and ensure fair valuation of stock value.
* Managing financial publication printing projects such as Annual Reports, 10-K, and Proxy Statement in conjunction with the legal, finance and communications functions.
