ELTA NA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Operational Training and Support Technician.

Summary

The Operational Training and Support Technician will support demonstrations for customers including participating in field exercises and maneuvers, as well as supporting independent test execution and field level operational test capabilities. This position plans and coordinates training and evaluation events and presents demonstrations to US government entities and companies with integrated opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Limited planning, coordination and execution of US GOV requested/directed testing and evaluation events on select technologies.
Assist with development of training support packages to include Programs of Instruction, training modules, manuals and graphic training aids.
Interface with potential customers and existing customers to educate on select technologies as well as promote or reinforce sales (Business Development).
Interface with customer base for technology review and requirement development / technology refinement IAW customer operational needs.
Responsible for setup, demonstration and coordination of products and systems for air, ground, vehicular, and manpack applications for US government testing.
Provides analysis, troubleshooting, rework, repair, calibration, inspection, and maintenance duties on a broad application of complex electronic instruments, assemblies, subassemblies, standards and systems.
Plan and coordinate customer training events throughout the continental U.S. in multiple sites, primarily DHS or DOD bases.
Responsible for performing assembly, test and evaluation of products and systems consisting of RF, analog and digital hardware, and software.
Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, reworking & repairing complex instruments, assemblies, subassemblies and systems.
Setup, operate, troubleshoot and maintain electronic equipment.
Performing essential functions listed with consistent exercise of discretion and judgment with customers.
Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with prior military service.
High School diploma or equivalent certification and two years of experience in a technical field is required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management is preferred.
Experience with Command Control (C2) systems is an advantage
Experience with Radars, Communication and/or Electro Optics hardware is an advantage.
Willing to learn new technologies and products.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more to setup and operate heavy equipment.
Travel: 50-75%
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to interface with customers.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
