ELTA North America (ELTA NA) is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and support of innovative electronic systems for the United States government and Israel’s Ministry of Defense. ELTA NA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Manager for Defense programs. This program manager will be expected to lead programs involving new and existing technology and may be required to lead multiple programs simultaneously. This Program Manager will also be responsible for helping the business area to grow through the support of proposals, capture activities, and customer engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing all program phases from inception through completion.
Managing Statement of Work requirements to ensure that the cost, schedule, and technical content are met. This includes maintaining overall program balance, integrated program management, performance, reporting and control in the execution of a successful program.
Ensuring that all contract deliverable items are fully compliant with the contract requirements, delivered on time, and accepted by the customer.
Ensuring that all subcontractors and suppliers requirements and performance is maintained to be consistent with program requirements.
Initiating and participating in proposal development and in the negotiation of a contract, contract changes, and teaming agreements with suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
At least one year of program management experience in the defense industry.
Ability to function independently to accomplish tasks with moderate supervision.
Experience with scheduling planning, performance, work measurement, and variance analysis for control accounts.
Working knowledge of ITAR/EAR.
Proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
Strong planning, leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Must have or be able to obtain PMP certification within 1 year of employment.
Travel: 10-20%; domestic and international
