ELTA NA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Development, Army Radar Systems.

Summary

ELTA North America is seeking a Director of Business Development to identify, evaluate and lead the capture of new business opportunities in the transition of technology from ELTA Systems Ltd. and IAI Systems Ltd. Target markets include Radars/Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Signal Intelligence, Communications Intelligence, and Communication technologies for the U.S. Army and adjacent market areas. The objective is to develop strategies to grow the business in both the Domestic and International sectors. This position will ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities, marketing, and sales activities, bid and proposal development, customer relationship development, contract planning, and strategic planning and execution for continued growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Establish business development goals to ensure a share of market and profitability of products and/or services
Identify new business opportunities and present to management for the pursuit of bid decisions
Develop and execute marketing and business development plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services
Engage with U.S. Army leadership and program offices and other U.S. Army related commands such as NVESD, AMRDEC, PEO SOLDIER, CERDEC, etc.
Perform research for analyzing and monitoring financial, technological, and programmatic requirements to effectively obtain the best competitive position
Develop and recommend win themes and pricing strategies for assigned products, programs and pursuits
Attain annual booking objectives for assigned products and programs.
Provide yearly budgetary inputs and updates to the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy to support Conferences, Expositions, Business Development, Capture Strategies and Bids & Proposals
Complete activity reports, business forecasts/pipelines, and capture plans for the Vice President of BD and Strategy.
Contribute to marketing efforts by producing and editing marketing materials
Build and maintain relationships with strategic contacts, customers, U.S. and International industry partners and stakeholders
Qualifications

Must have a minimum of five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess familiarity with overall defense planning and budgeting process, acquisition practices, program management and execution procedures.
Possess familiarity and overall technical and programmatic knowledge for the technology insertion of solutions and products into DoD programs.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (B.S. in a technical discipline) or equivalent from a four-year college or university or DoD equivalent institution
Experience with DoD mission, platforms and the sub-system components including electronic warfare, radar and communications, and command and control systems
Must have a demonstrated ability to sell into DoD and international markets, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Funded (FMF) programs, and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)
Must have the ability to plan, manage, and execute demonstrations and IRADs
Must have demonstrated the ability to lead, develop, and deliver compliant, winning proposal responses
Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Must have excellent planning and organization, project management and time management skills
Proven ability to access and engage with DoD leadership and personnel at relevant facilities and program offices.
Active Security Clearance required.
International and Domestic Travel: 25-50%
