JOB TITLE: Senior Program Manager (Program Management Support)

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Air Force AMO Develops advanced Weapons Systems for the USAF.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this Program Management Support role you will assist with the development and maintenance of all program documentation. Responsibilities include:
Support the review of quotes and, as assigned by the customer, shall serve in a non-voting advisory role for program source selections. Coordination of documentation between functional organizations inside and outside AMO. Facilitate program milestone planning and preparation to support lifecycle acquisition risk management and process improvement. Participate in meetings internal and external to AMO. Prepare evaluation and communication of program progress in writing, in briefings, and in discussions with AMO Program Office and higher management. Develop and coordinate responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries. Assist in developing and managing strategic scheduling and planning documentation such as an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Participate in developing and analyzing IMSs on ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs using Microsoft Project or other DoD-relevant scheduling tools to include: employing network software tools and capabilities to assess and report schedule performance; conduct probabilistic and deterministic Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) on IMSs; integrating elements of contractor and government schedules to account for government dependencies. Support development and coordination of DoD 5000.02 acquisition and logistics milestone planning and reporting documentation to include drafting documentation, presentation materials, and preparing staff summary packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions. Assist in staffing acquisition planning documentation and reports at the product center, command, or headquarters level. Help to develop and coordinate DoD 5000.02 acquisition milestone plans and associated reporting documentation for one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs. Assist in preparing documentation, presentation materials, and staff packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions. Assist in developing and supporting executive-level (O-7 and SES) briefings as well as scheduling and coordinating acquisition documents, reports, and briefings with senior Air Force and government stakeholders. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree. Minimum of 10 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Master's degree; or a minimum of 15 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Bachelor's degree; or a minimum of 20 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience. Five (5) of these years must have been in an acquisition program office on an ACAT I or ACAT II DoD acquisition program as either Program/Project Manager (PM), deputy PM, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead and must have occurred within two (2) years of selection for employment under this contract. Personnel in a Senior labor category shall have program management experience with the Earned Value Management System on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs.
