JOB TITLE: Supply Support and Training Manager

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

AFLCMC/WII is responsible for the development, test, production, and sustainment of the MQ-1 and MQ-9 UAS. This position provides advisory and assistance services support to the government program office at their Wright-Patterson AFB operating location

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide acquisition Supply Support and Training and Training Equipment logistics support for the MQ-1/MQ-9 (and similar systems) as follows. Provide assistance to the Chief of Logistics/ Product Support Manager for all tasks and actions related to supply chain management, government property management and training. Provide supply chain management and training consultation and assistance to AFLCMC/WII offices and Integrated Product Teams. Provide training, property management, and spares and support equipment provisioning assistance on all new AFLCMC/WII acquisition efforts. Provide guidance and assistance in developing Readiness Spares Packages (RSP) by prime Contractor and execution of annual RSP reviews with prime Contractor and Major Commands (MAJCOM). Provide reviews of training syllabuses, course material, course critiques and training deliverables for government approval. Provide assistance and coordination in determining and placing training aircraft and assets. Provide guidance and assistance in determining training requirements and locations to support program training facilities and student flow. Maintain currency of standard Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) content in accordance with current DoD, US Air Force, and MAJCOM instructions. Provide assistance to the Logistics Branch Support Equipment Element for provisioning and miscellaneous logistics support. Assist with the management of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Memorandums of Agreement, and Memorandums for Record involving the transfer, loan, or recapitalization of gov't property. Collaborate with all DOD, US Air Force, and MAJCOM MQ-1 & MQ-9 (and similar systems) stakeholders in the acquisition and execution of weapon system supply chain and training capabilities. Provide guidance and assistance in meeting congressional mandate for Financial Improvement & Audit Readiness (FIAR) for GFP. Serve as the program manager for the AFLCMC/WII Property Tracker database. Serve as the lead for Logistics Health Assessment tasks related to supply chain and training. Serve as the AFLCMC/WII Transportation Accounting Code Mgr. Coordinate organic and depot training requirements. Coordinate the Type 4 training classes at the user level. Co-Chair with Air Combat Command (ACC) training representative on the quarterly training planning team. Recommend and implement Government approved best business practices for supply chain support. Support the Predator Mission Aircrew Training System Program Office in developing and implementing an effective supply chain strategy.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the logistics functional area Must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field Eight (8) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree; OR Four (4) years of additional work experience plus a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a Master's degree At a minimum, at least five years of any Senior's experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience in a USAF Program Office within AFLCMC or AFSC or their predecessor organizations Review all awarded contracts for impacts to GFP obligations or deliverables to Inventory Control Points (ICP) and pass to the applicable ICP for info/action Coordinate DCMA and contracting officer requests for disposition of contract close-out GFP with the applicable ICP for decision Represent the program office at HAF/A4R semiannual Contractor Supported Weapon Systems (CSWS)/FIAR meetings. Serve as the MQ1/MQ-9 representative to HAF/A4P Government Furnished Materiel Accountability (GFM-A) implementation IPT Serve as the Senior Material Leader's (SML) and PSM's division IPT leader for FIAR-GFP compliance. Author Self-identified Discrepancies (SID) and execute corresponding Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
