Responsibilities
PotomacWave is looking for an Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP) Coordinator to develop a plan identifying mission essential functions throughout the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its component organizations. The ISCP will assist DHS with planning for disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
The ISCP Coordiantor will be responsible for coordinating with individuals and organizations that use/operate systems that store, process, or transmit Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) information or connect to an OCIO network or system. The Coordinator will interact with DHS Components, employees, contractors, stakeholders, vendors, and outsourcing providers. The Coordinator will document processes that ensure identified IT resources, assets, and business products and services can be recovered during foreseen/unforeseen catastrophic events.
Researching industry guidelines, practices, and standards for continuity of operations and disaster recovery of critical IT functions. Identifying stakeholders and developing stakeholder registry and communications management plan. Review and customize templates for ISCP templates.
Qualifications
Candidate will need 10 or more years of experience as an analyst, project manager, or related role in onsite support of a federal client. Two (2) or more years of professional experience supporting DHS, preferably OCIO. BA or BS degree. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate multiple activities where input is required from various groups and organizations.
Knowledge Areas
Familiarity with the Department of Homeland Security and NIST guidelines preferred. Knowledge of DHS information systems and enterprise architecture.

Education / Certifications
BS/BA Degree from an accredited college or university.
Clearance Requirements
Candidate must be a US citizen A current TOP SECRET-level security clearance is required Existing DHS EOD suitability a plus
