Support Services Supervisor III
FCi Federal is recruiting candidates for the position of Support Services Supervisor III, contingent upon award of a large-scale mail management contract with the federal government.
The Supervisor III has responsibility for contract performance and compliance of assigned tasks under this contract. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of federal mail and warehouse services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):
Responsible for contractual performance and compliance of work completed by 11 - 20 direct staff as it relates to mail operations and warehouse management Ability to comprehend and utilize internal workload management reports to ensure contract performance Manage processes outlined within contract and lead group of SCA staff in mail operations or a warehousing environment Develop performance and action plans that will be presented to internal senior leadership Ability to successfully communicate with staff regarding complex process changes Assist staff in everyday functions completed within department Ability to successfully monitor time and attendance of all direct reports Assist Contract Director and Deputy Contract Director in the development of process improvements Ensure completion of training program by all direct staff Provide routine feedback to all staff and assist with on-the-job training of new employees Monitor departmental and individual metrics Familiarity and ability to assist with courier runs Successfully collaborate with Contract Director\Deputy Contract Director and Human Capital to address employee concerns or performance issues Assist with development and implementation of plans that monitor all routine maintenance activities that are done in accordance with client's established standards Extensive knowledge in operating and performing routine maintenance to company and government-provided mail and warehousing systems and equipment
Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
Four (4) years' experience in a supervisory role Comprehensive knowledge of support services provided in a mail management and warehousing facility which includes but not limited to: file management, methods utilized, regulations, equipment usage, and procedures Computer skills required: MS Office Suite skills Ability to pass government background investigation and maintain clearance Must be U.S. Citizen Clean driving record with current driver's license

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects and office equipment; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc.
This position is performed in a mail operations and secure warehousing environment.
