Job Description:

Overview: ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor and are seeking candidates in support of the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) supporting B-1B Logistics, Acquisition Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Capabilities Development, and Operations Planning/Policy Advisory and Assistance Services .

All work will principally be performed at HQ AFGSC, at Barksdale AFB, LA.

Responsibilities: Global Assured Communications (GAC) cost analysts will participate in project planning, a critical thinking session, and study plan development to being the Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) cost purveyor for the lead contractor. The CBA cost analyst will quantify and prioritize gaps, identify risks, prioritize the gaps, postulate solutions, conduct Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing of those solutions and conduct a solution viability assessment.

CBA cost analyst must be capable of working under remote supervision by the lead contractor's project lead. The analysts will coauthor the overall document, help prepare any required briefing slides, assist with adjudication of comments and help finalize the document for submission.

Qualifications: - The JCIDS cost analysts shall have previous JCIDS experience at or above the Air Force Major Command level
- Applicants shall have experience in Beyond Line of Sight communications
-- Instructor bomber aircrew experience
-- Bomber Command and Control are desirable for this project
- The cost analysts must be capable of generating ROM Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) for each
potential solution to inform the solution analysis
- Analyst shall have experience in locating government cost data and generating LCCEs applicable to
this project
- The analysts shall possess or complete Defense Acquisition University Courses Introduction to JCIDS
(CLR 101) and Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (AQ 101) prior to commencing
work
- Analyst must be able to operate and navigate NIPRNET, SIPRNET with a vast working experience in
Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint
- TS/SCI personnel security clearance.
